During a working trip to the East Kazakhstan region, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the industrial facilities of Semey, where he got acquainted with the development of domestic machine building, primeminister.kz reports.

Within the framework of familiarization with the industrial development of the region, in particular the machine-building industry, the Prime Minister visited Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan LLP and SemAZ LLP. Bakytzhan Sagintayev inspected the work of the car assembly plant, got acquainted with the technological process and the range of spare parts and batteries produced, the quality of vehicle assembly at different stages of readiness.

The company specializes in the production of Daewoo city and suburban passenger buses. At the same time, this year Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan has mastered the production of Gazelle NEXT vehicles with an all-metal body for intercity passenger transportation.

“In 2017, 136 buses were produced for 3 billion tenge. In January-August of this year, industrial products were produced for 2.3 billion tenge: 82 Daewoo buses were produced, which is 7.9% higher than last year, "said the general director of SemAZ LLP and Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan LLP A. Duskuzhanov.

In general, the company is focused on the production and export of competitive goods. Today the products are in demand in the domestic market and in the countries of the Customs Union and the CIS. Considering that the plant's capacity is the production of 1200 buses per year, work is underway to enter new sales markets.

As A. Duskuzhanov reported, the company specializes in the production of Belarus tractors and trucks. For 8 months, products were produced for 4.2 billion tenge. 170 Belarus tractors, 186 trucks were produced, including 74 SHACMAN trucks, 30 Foton trucks and 82 Ural trucks. In addition, the company plans to expand the range of products, including through the development of a new model of trucks with a carrying capacity of 40 tons and the launch of an assembly line "Gazelle Business", "Gazelle NEXT".

Note that the share of industry in the structure of the gross regional product of East Kazakhstan region is 31.8%. The volume of industrial production in 2017 amounted to 1,581.5 billion tenge. In 2017, the manufacturing industry increased the production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 88.1%, pharmaceuticals by 3.7 times, chemical products by 16.2%, electrical equipment by 74.8%, other finished products by 22, 3%. In January-August 2018, the volume of industrial production amounted to 1,187.8 billion tenge. Physical volume index - 108.7%.
